I'm not quite sure how much longer ill be able to run the Creep Machine. For no other reason because its draining me.

Its quite hard and time consuming to be constantly looking for new artists, news, prints to help sell, as well as sending off these artists names to galleries. In hopes they will be snagged up. About 7 of them have so far. Quite an accomplishment.

Whats draining is that I received a thank you from maybe 2 of those artists. And from what I've been told, they were prompted to say thanks from the gallery owners. Wow, thanks.

I've never wanted anything more than a thanks, maybe even a link on some websites, but that seems to hard to get. So I bust my ass, with nothing in exchange, no thanks. I feel like I'm working a retail store. In the meantime my own art is suffering, since I have little time.

I wonder, if anyone would help me out, like I have helped out all these artists. I hope so, and you can bet I wouldn't forget they did.

sorry to hear you're feeling defeated, maybe people don't realise how much effort you're putting in, the site is so professional it almost looks effortless and as if there's several of you working on it.
I would offer to help, but i am having a baby in about 3 wks time

i put a link to you on my website though, and i will certainly put your DA stamp at the bottom of all future DA journals.

Sorry to hear you never received a thanks, especially as its very difficult to make it in the art world, galleries in the UK certainly seem very stuffy and uninterested when they find out i'm self taught (getting 7 artists snagged up by galleries is an achievement indeed, and they obviously don't realise how lucky they are) and so people like you do make a difference, as i make most of my (very sporadic) sales through chance opportunities by being seen on the web, so i appreciate sites like yours where i can put a link or a banner.
So thanks for doing what you do

That is terrible! I know you put a lot of effort into what you have been doing, and you have been doing a great job. I am shocked the artists you have helped haven't been more appreciative.

So, thanks. Thanks for Creep Machine -- it has gotten me more interested in making art again. Thanks for exchanging rambling emails with me and being interested in my art. Thanks to your prodding I actually have a new piece all sketched out on my drawing table waiting for painting. Which is quite a feat, since I haven't gotten this far on a painting in about 4 years!

If weren't completely out of touch with the art world, I could be much more helpful. If there is anything I can do, let me know.

No problem. If I could be a factor into helping you get back into it, then it's not a loss.

The one thing I'm happy for is I learned a lot more about art, and met some really cool people.

Can't wait to see the new works.

Well, the site does make me happy. I just wish that people would be just as excited to share the link of my site, as they are many sites.
